Commercial EV Chargers

We supply and install commercial electric vehicle chargers for business organisations of all sizes.

What are the benefits of an EV charger?

  • Convenient charging

By installing EV chargers at your workplace you have more control over when you and your employees can charge your cars. Gone are the days of having to find the closest petrol station, now you can simply charge your cars whilst you and your employees work.

  • Faster charging speed

An EV charger installation will result in far faster charging speed. Fast chargers deliver between 7 and 22 kW and provide a much quicker charge time of three to six hours. Rapid chargers up to about 43 kW can provide an 80% charge in about 30 minutes.

  • EV chargers are safer

A dedicated charger has additional safety features built in and are a lot safer than using your domestic sockets to charge your electric car, as extension reels are not suited to supplying high levels of power for lengthy periods and can overheat.

  • Scheduled charging

All the electric car charging points we sell are “smart”. This means the electric car charger connects to your mobile phone via WiFi or 4G to allow you to set up scheduled charging for convenience as well as helping you to track the running costs of your car.

  • Money saving energy tariffs

A major advantage of the faster charging speed and scheduling, means you can access EV friendly energy tariffs which often have cheaper electricity rates at off peak times, helping you to potentially save hundreds of pounds per year on EV charging.

  • Improve your green credentials

Plugin electric vehicles are predicted to make up 30% of the market by 2025, with many people expecting to charge at work. Cut your fleet costs and earn income from charging, whilst reducing your carbon footprint and improving your green credentials.

  • These are two different kinds of connectors for charging an electric car. Most will be a Type 2 connector as most cars use this type of plug as it was mandated by the EU that all plug-in cars from 2014 must have a Type 2 socket.

There are some cars that have the older, differently shaped Type 1 socket, such as the Mitsubishi PHEV. But these are rare.

Type 1 to Type 2 converters are available to make your charge point universal.

We also offer universal plug socket versions of EV chargers and therefore a vehicle owner would attach their own charging cable.
