Residential Solar PV Flat Roof Installation
CT Walters Electrical completed a challenging domestic solar PV and battery storage installation at a private residence in Oxford, delivering a carefully designed solution tailored to the property and the client’s long-term energy goals.
The project involved a 10kWp flat roof solar PV system, installed using a non-penetrative, ballasted mounting system to protect the roof structure while ensuring long-term stability. The system was paired with 20kWh of battery storage, significantly increasing self-consumption and providing a high level of energy independence throughout the day.
Due to the complexity of the installation, the project required close coordination with a structural engineer, ensuring every aspect of the design and installation met the highest technical and safety standards.
